There is wear on the wheels from previous use. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is not included. The locomotive features brass construction, metal wheels, knuckle coupler and a motor. Please see my pictures for additional features. Introduced as a relative 'Late-comer" to the industry the 2-8-0 would quickly rise to popularity as a freight hauler the late 19th and early 20th century with its use spanning from the US to Europe. Hailed for its versatility during its run, the 2-8-0 would serve as a heavy freight hauler for various rail-ways before eventually seeing its use wind down starting in 1915.
