Description: VERY RARE American Art Outlines by Ella R M Milligan - 1927 1st Ed - NM + BONUS Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Funky Christmas / Everyday Funky These books etc. come from my father-in-law's estate. We have an entire weaving and yarn shop inventory to sell that was filled to the brim. This book was found in a locked glass bookcase in my father-in-law's yarn shop. This book is in NEAR MINT condition. There is no spine; loose leaf. There is no dust jacket. Actual front and back boards have very minimal damage. No marks or highlighting in text. Pages are crisp, clean and unmarked. Cover lies flat. All black and white illustrations or photographs. Illustrated, collectible, 1st edition. This book is in NEAR MINT condition. It's ex-library from back in the day when people didn't mess with other people's things. These 90 miniature pictures of famous art are on construction-type paper with a tiny blurb on the back. Some pages have 2 pictures. Most of the pages are pefect, however, 9 are near mint or have some minor problem. They will be in the pictures so you can see how minor the imperfections are. Also, we have no idea how many pictures were supposed to be in the book. This is a total of 60 pages; some pictures are doubles on a page. This book, a teacher's aid, was made in 1927 and the only references we can find for it are in museums. We have been unable to find out how many pages there were supposed to be but the amount there seems to be about right for the fold-out cover and enclosing paper. The pages are loose leaf, and the cover ties shut. Pages are 7" by 10". This book will come with a BONUS book, also from the Brown-Robertson Co. Inc., Educational Art Publishers, titled Picture Study. That should have had 96 illustrations, but there are only 13 and they are 5" by 7" pages with art glued on. Please NOTE: Old books are heavy books. Safe shipping may move them into the next postal category. Sorry! Please NOTE: We live in Michigan and it is winter. We have the Lake Effect almost every day – massive cloud cover. We are doing the best we can with interior lighting for the pictures. Also, please NOTE: Almost every book has a smudge somewhere. We mention it if we see it, but please assume we missed something. PLEASE NOTE: Because eBay is composed of soulless, bloodsucking monsters, and because it is forcing us to use an ISBN number for a book that DOES NOT have an ISBN number, and even when it DOES have an ISBN, still won’t let us use it, so we use one of a random book. Our book is pre-ISBN numbers. The Library of Congress number is not in this book. The LOC does not hyphenate when you put the number in to verify. Fake ISBN number is 9781014236289. Correct ISBN number isnon-existent. We put in whichever one the system will take. Sorry! Note: We are running out of estate books and will be slowly changing over to their other possessions – some serious, some MCM, some just funky, or kitschy. Others are Depression era. Some will be brand new items, still in their packaging, and others will be more mainstream books (from one of the Grandma’s) or some of our personal books or collectables, as we are not leaving this mess to our kids. We hope you have fun and stay with us. Shipping – All books are shipped on Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday on the first day possible after payment is received around 8 to 9 AM. They are shipped by Media Mail in heavy brown paper, similar to a grocery paper bag. All wrapping and shipping materials are recycled from the cardboard to bubble wrap to 50 year old envelopes. Our packages are ugly, but are very carefully wrapped to arrive safely. We always refund shipping credit if you buy multiple items. Free local pick up. We refund your shipping charges! Please help us recycle these lovingly cared for curios in an environmentally friendly manner.
