Description: The highly coveted 18K Yellow Gold Augis French Love Token. Features a fluted heart design, which is a bit more rare than the typical round shape. It is hallmarked AA and stamped with a french eagle head, you can see the almost faded eagle head stamp from the front and back of the bail, indicative of French 18K gold purity. But has also been tested by my jeweler to confirm as much. The (+) is a warm white gold and the (-) features two synthetic rubies. Important note: There is black enamel loss on the letter U in “QU,” the apostrophe and the letter I in “HIER” but keep in mind this piece is old. The charm is recognized for the phrase “Plus qu'hier, moins que demain" ("More than yesterday, less than tomorrow)”, a line from a poem in which poet Rosemonde Gerard wrote to her husband.
