Description: This glamorous eye-catching strapless 1940’s party dress features a wrapped front bodice, very full skirt with scalloped lace inset, in a shiny gold taffeta fabric. There are no maker’s tags or size label. The dress is empire waisted with boning at bodice sides and measures about 29” where the skirt meets the bodice. From underarm seam to hem measures about 36” and the bust measures approximately 36”. The waist measures 14” from side seam to side seam. This item is in good condition though there are a few issues. At the upper back bodice there small rips and tears, there are also a couple tiny holes in the lace and taffeta but because there is such an abundance of fabric, they aren’t easily seen. This is an unlaundered item so there is also very light soiling. Please see photos for further details.
