It's a metal Kentucky Fried Chicken wall decoration which features the familiar corporate image of Kentucky Fried Chicken founder Colonel Harland Sanders. This plaque is made of heavy metal (looks like either brass or copper) and it's in near mint/mint condition. The plaque is about 8" from the top of the Colonel's head to the bottom of his tie, and about 4-1/2" wide. The wood that it is mounted to is 9" by 13 1/2" There's lots of detail in this plaque -- you can even see the crow's feet at the side of the Colonel's eyes! This plaque is based on the 1960s-era image of Colonel Sanders. This plaque was never available to the general public and probably only a handful of these plaques were ever produced for use in the restaurants, so it's rare to find one of these plaques today.
