Description: This vintage Royal Mercury manual typewriter (serial #M450338) comes in good cosmetic condition, with the right-hand platen knob missing, minor handling and finish wear to the body, minor handling wear and soiling to the hard plastic cover, and very light overall soiling (see pictures). The unit is in solid working condition, with good action on all the keys and carriage movements. The unit has a ribbon installed that does not apply ink evenly and will need replaced (additional ribbons available on eBay and elsewhere for under $10). The unit dates to the mid-1960's. It has a slimline body style, with a light gray body, plated accents, a black base and cover, and off-white keys marked with black letters. It features a 10-pitch (Pica) type size.
