Description: Vintage 1973 STANTON BROS 'SF to LA' PROMO T-Shirt TOWER RECORDS STILL SEALED!! Back in the 1970s, the legendary Tower Records sold not only records and tapes, but promotional band t-shirts as well. Not actual “concert” shirts, they usually came straight from the record label or distributor. Some shirts were used as part of the promotional display for the band's new album, while the rest were folded neatly around an 'album-sized' piece of cardboard, shrinkwrapped, and sold in the bins alongside the albums. In addition, most shirts had the 'display date' written on the back in marker. The t-shirt in this auction is an authentic, record label promotional t-shirt from the 1970s. It is in 100% PRISTINE condition, having remained UNOPENED in its original shrinkwrap for nearly FIFTY years! Note that because of this, no measurements can be provided beyond what is visible on the shirt label, nor can there be any certainty as to what/if there is any design on the back. As such, this shirt is being sold (basically) for its collector value – no guarantee is stated or implied that the shirt's actual measurements/size will match the label.
