Description: Complete ‘62-65 Slingerland set in very good/excellent condition. Drums were not born together but were adopted (by me) to form a harmonious family. 5”x14” Gene Krupa Sound King model 130, 8 lugs, chrome over brass. Zoomatic strainer with model-correct Puresound snares. One of the most versatile snare drums I’ve ever played. Serial number 140274 9”x13” Tom: all original except I re-wrapped it to match the blue sparkle of the floor tom. Sorry the first 3 pics show it upside down. I mistakenly mounted it that way when setting them up for the pictures. Serial number 33391 16”x16” Floor Tom: all original. The push button leg mounts work like new. Serial number 211394 14”x22” Bass Drum: When I got this drum it was missing the spurs and the hoop inserts were in bad condition . I installed new inserts to match the toms and bought correct size aluminum rods (not factory correct) for spurs. Some previous owner had also moved the rail mount a couple inches toward the top. Appears to have been a professional repair as the holes were plugged and matching wrap was installed. I don’t know if this wrap has darkened over the years or perhaps the company changed the shade of its blue sparkle, but this shell is a bit darker than the others. Serial number 196765
