Description: Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a small vintage mixed media / decoupage piece of art by California artist, Peter Van Kleef. This was obtained at an estate sale back when we lived in California shortly after his passing. Circa '90s. It appears to be made of various pieces of paper cut into different shapes and sizes (ie. magazine scraps, colored paper, etc.), and are all held down with a clear, transparent tape onto a piece of cardboard backing. The tape gives the artwork some texture and depth (see photos). The artist also used different colored pigment throughout to give the piece a washed out appearance. This artwork is framed in a simple wooden frame, and unsigned. Measurements: Approx. 9.25" wide x 11.25" tall. Condition: Good vintage condition - shows some light wear that is commensurate with age and handling, but nothing bad. Display well, and is ready for a new home.
