It has been tucked away and I have been forcing myself to sell all of my wonderful finds that I have been hoarding and haven’t worn so someone else can enjoy them. It is amazing and the exact belt you will be receiving. To me, this belt is magnificent! The belt itself is a blue leather and adjustable. I haven’t touched it as far as cleaning or conditioning the leather, so I will leave that up to you. Most folks will put it on and go. I simply recommend leather conditioning on all vintage pieces. I show some images that look like the exterior is buckling. This to me isn’t a big deal. It was probably just not stored properly and rolled up. Now, the amazing buckle: I did not wash, polish or attempt to clean it as I don’t want to ruin it with today’s harsh chemicals. It is a super shiny gold tone with faux rubies and lapis. All gems are in place securely. There is some light discoloration of the gold on the back and front. It looks worse if you look at the close up. I suggest taking a look at the pics with the entire buckle and zooming in. To me, this isn’t a big deal at all most folks would put on the belt and go. It could be permanent or perhaps even cleaned. I just like to point out everything possible so you know and love what you are buying. Overall, this belt is a great addition to any vintage accessory collection and is sure to impress.
