Description: VINTAGE AFRICAN SENUFO KPELIYE'E MASK WITH FEMALE FIGURE TOPPER Click images to enlarge Description A vintage Kpeliye'e mask from the Senufo people of West Africa, in the traditional form, but with a sitting female figure atop the head. It is in un-touched condition with a dryish surface with traces of old black paint. There is no physical damage. It measures 23 1/2" tall by 8" wide. Probably 50-75 years old. I've owned it for 20 years and had purchased it from a collector who had owned it for some while.
