Description: Vintage ao American Optical Octagon Style #569. These eyeglasses are solid and sturdy in good vintage condition. A more unique soft octagonal frame. They are stamped AO 569 on right temple and 5016 on left temple. They are marked American Optical 5-1/4" on ear pieces. It is possible tthat they are tortoiseshell, but I cannot tell for sure. The glasses & hinges should be cleaned and adjusted by a professional for regular use. Sold as-is.
