Description: Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a super cool, one-of-a-kind vintage mixed media wall hanging by the late famed St. Louis artist, Brother Mel (Mel Meyer). Circa '80s. Consists of a steel (metal framework) with multi-colored yarn stretched over it to form various patterns along the lower half of the sculpture. It is simply signed "MEL" directly into the metal (see photos). Depending on your preference we believe this can hang either vertically or horizontally. Measurements: Including the two small steel circular projections at the top and bottom, this piece measures approx. 38" tall x 30" wide. Condition: Very good condition - no chips, cracks, breaks, scratches, repairs, etc. The metal shows a little bit of faint discoloration in spots (see photos), but can easily be buffed out, if desired, or just left alone. It doesn't particularly detract, but we are mentioning it for accuracy. It's a wonderful one-of-a-kind piece that's ready for a new home!
