One of the greatest and most famous dance clubs / dance bars during the 70’s and 80’s! If you’re a fan of Detroit night life and it’s history, this shirt is for you! The front of the shit has the Detroit skyline along with the Aorta “heart” graphic! The back of the shirt has the address of the bar along with the tag line. I have only ever seen one other shirt from this bar in the last 30 years so now is your chance to own it! Amazing fading and cracking! Super soft and worn-in to perfection! Shirt is thin but still has good volume! This shirt has such a great look and feel and a ton of character! NO DRY ROT! Shirt is in pretty good, used vintage condition with some minor flaws. It does have visible “wear and tear” with a few small and minor spots / stains along with heavy piling throughout. There is also a extremely small pinhole on the left sleeve but it is hardly noticeable. For its age, it’s in pretty good shape with the only flaws being cosmetic. There are no major flaws and there is nothing that affects the integrity of the shirt! Other than the super small pinhole, which practically blends in, there are no major holes, rips or tears! This is truly an amazing shirt with phenomenal graphics and artwork and a beautiful color scheme! Great for any fan or collector! Great fading and nice cracking throughout with excellent wear! This is a true vintage Detroit Bar tee from the late 70’s. This is not a reprint or replica. This is 100% true and authentic vintage. Color is yellow / gold (nice fading throughout the shirt). 50/50 Tag (50% Polyester and 50% Cotton). Shirt is buttery soft and does have some stretch to it! I assume this was made in the USA. Tagged size Medium. Please see the following measurements for reference. It measures approximately 17 by 25 inches. Please be advised of size and approximate measurements. Shirts from this time period ran slim / trim so please check measurements for accurate understanding. Because the shirt is 50/50, it is “stretchy” which can help too. This can also be unisex. Single stitch sleeves and single stitched hem. Obviously this is used and does have a good amount of wear throughout but the shirt still has lots of life left to it and is in pretty good shape. Again…NO DRY ROT! “Wear and tear” throughout as expected from age and use. No major holes or rips or tears. There is one super small pin hole (as mentioned above), but nothing significant. Amazing fading and cracking to the graphics which gives this shirt such a great look. There are some minor flaws outlined below: There is one extremely small and hardly noticeable pinhole on the sleeve of the shirt. Please see pictures for reference. This is minuscule and can hardly be seen. I wouldn’t consider this major at all since it does not affect the wear of the shirt and it almost blends in. There are a few small and minor spots and stains on the shirt. Please see pictures for reference. The largest is on the front of the shirt and is a brown color and the others are somewhat neutral or blend in to the yellow color. The others are extremely small and are hardly noticeable and almost blend in. I photographed the areas but as I mentioned, they really don’t stand out and can hardly been seen, especially when worn. I wouldn’t consider this major at all since they don’t affect the wear of the shirt and they almost blend in. There is heavy piling on the shirt. Please see pictures for reference. This is typical from shirts with heavy “wear and tear”. I included a close up of the shirt for reference. This is practically found everywhere on the shirt. I wouldn’t consider this major as it’s somewhat expected from use. There is lighter fading to parts of the shirt as expected from age and use. Please see pictures for reference. Obviously please be advised of the condition and understand that there are some flaws as outlined above. Overall vintage condition is still pretty good, even with the minor flaws. This shirt has so much character and is worn in to perfection! The “biggest” flaws would be the small stain on the front, the small pinhole on the sleeve, as well as the piling but again, there is nothing drastic. I don’t consider any of the flaws to be major since they do not jeopardize the integrity of the shirt.
