Vintage Devon Lace Paper Napkins Freund Mayer & Co 37 remain in opened box of 48

Description: Due to the increase in volume of packages being shipped through the US Postal System, shipping times have occasionally been longer than those estimated by either eBay or the USPS tracking tool. Vintage (1950's - 1960's) partially used box of decorative pierced ivory or off-white colored paper napkins(similar to how paper doilies are pierced), in two sizes, made in England - distributed by Freund Mayer & Co., Inc.230 5th Ave., New York, N.Y. These are thin and, for the most part, still sort of stuck toeach other from the die-cutting process - they need tobe carefully and slowly separated from each other before using them ... this also made counting how manyremained in the box difficult. The quantity I countedafter re-counting several times, was 16 of the larger sizeand 21 of the smaller size - 37 out of the original 48.(There could possibly be more if I missed separating some of the napkins from each other). As they are folded in the box, they measure as follows: large size napkin - 6½" along edge (as folded)small size napkin - 4½" along edge (as folded) These are off-white in color with some darkening from age. The dark toning is fairly uniform acrossthe entire side of an affected napkin, although, I found in one instance, the darkeningis only in an area in the center - as can be seen in the final photowhich is of the large napkin which was on the top of the stack.These appear to have been made from paperpulp with a few bits of colored fibers in it as can be seen in photos #21 and #22.One of the smaller napkins was stored in the box crookedly for yearsand it has become creased (other than the creases that are on purpose) ... these is shown in photo #23. Item should be returned in original condition with all original packing materials.
