Description: Print was designed by Diana Hansen - Young who depicts a mother and her two daughters. Diana asked them to dress representing three-time eras of Hawaii. Their clothing they wore included a sarong, kimono, and a muumuu representing only eras but heritage and background. From ancient Hawaiian women to oriental immigrant to modern hapahaole, these women provided a representation of the mixture of races and historical heritage of Hawaiian women. And as note earlier, this print was chosen to be used on the 25th Hawaiian Statehood Anniversary poster in 1984.
