Description: This is a Vintage Ebony Wood Hand-Carved Elephant Cigarette Cigar Ashtray from (I believe) Africa, circa colonial period (pre WWI). It measures approx 6.5" x 4.5". Back part of the wood on the elephants rumps looks as though it has splintered and was repaired. One of the tusks look to be glued to keep in place (must look very closely). Great decor piece.
