Description: A selection of vintage paperback books all connected in some way with the entertainment industry. I picked most of them up back in the 80's and 90's for sale at shows but I haven't done show for awhile and they have just been sitting around. Signet S1334, First printing September 1956, movie edition. A few but not unsightly cover creases,all pages including photo section tight. Roger Vadim's Les Liaisons Dengereuses. Ballentine S 586, 1962. Decent copy not much wear. Looks good not much wear. American Graffiti by George Lucas, Gloria Katz & Willard Huyck. Evergreen Black Cat BC-373, 1973. It is basically the script with a lot of photos from the film.Born To Run: The Bruce Springsteen Story by Dave Marsh (Updated Edition). Dell 0-440-10694-X, first Dell edition Sept. 1981. Dedication and former yard sale price in ink inside. Very Good condition, minor wear and crease on spine, all pages tight. Straightforward factual account, almost 300 pages.It Takes A Thief: The Devil In Davos by Gil Brewer. Ace 37598, 1968. Decent copy, a little color flaking at bottom left extends to spine, like a piece of tape stuck to it maybe.Son Of Flubber by Roger Fuller. Pocket Books M4279, 1st Edition January 1963. Looks nice, not much wear, some aging, vintage price sticker on the inside front cover.Danny Kaye As The Man From The Diners' Club by Sam Boal. Lancer 70-041, 1963. Looks nice although some aging. I might have got this from some warehoused books years ago.Battle Of Britain: The Making Of A Film by Leonard Mosley. Ballentine 01704, First Printing September 1969.Dylan: An Intimate Biography by Anthony Scaduto. Signet W5353, 3rd Printing 1973. Not bad at all, not much wear and only a little aged. Bedtime Story by Richard Wormser - Fawcett Gold Medal K1427. Movie edition featuring stars on the cover, that said I expect any copy is a movie edition as it appears the book was written from the film. That said it is very over-the-top and humorous so should make for an entertaining read. Fawcett Gold Medal Books, 1964. Very Good condition, moderate general wear and aging. Popular movie but the paperback is kind of scarce.(James Bond) Diamonds Are Forever by Sean Connery - Bantam N6997. Movie edition featuring stars on the cover art. Fourth printing of the Bantam edition, about 1972. Very Good condition, all pages tight and not badly ages, crease on the front cover.Bruce Springsteen by Marianne Meyer - Ballentine 32218. New copy from some unsold stock I picked up way back in the 80's. Light storage wear at worse. This may have been a Scholastic edition with less distribution that some mass market paperbacks.Laughter Incorporated by Bennett Cerf - Bantam A1342, 4th printing July 1955. Some age spots but all pages tight and just as funny today as then.The Beatles Yellow Submarine - Signet First Printing October 1968. Very Good condition, slightly non-flat, great reading copy and decent enough for collection also. Affordable shipping by Media Mail to any domestic address for the same flat rate. Price is generally such that even with shipping you will get these titles for less than you would pay for new copies if they were in print. These are also collector's items but you don't have to be afraid to read them and they can be fun to actually read and not just look at.
