Description: We're surprised this style has been discontinued because it's a great size and shape for serving vegies or for setting out fruit, but that's the case we're told. This apple pattern Franciscan ware was made in the US. The mark (an early one; hard to read) says Gladding McBean and tracks to the 1950s. The bowl is in remarkably good shape -- no cracks, chips, or stains. There's a slight roughness on one side of the rim, (very small area) which we've marked on one of the photos, but you have to look hard to spot it. The bowl is 7 1/2" wide, 2 inches high, and sits on a 4 1/2" base. Weighs 13 ounces before packing.
