Description: Vintage Heisey's Glass Co. 1940's Crystolite #1503 Cigarette Box This magnificent cigarette box was produced by Heisey in their Crystolite pattern, which was produced from 1938 until 1957. As smoking went out of fashion these boxes became used more commonly as dresser boxes, jewelry boxes or "catch-all" trinket bowls. It is rectangular and measures roughly 4" L x 3.5" W x 2.5" H. It is sturdy, made from thick clear glass, and weighs over a pound with the lid on. Both the box and lid are adorned with a heavily scalloped edge. Original sticker on the top. Will pack carefully and ship quickly from my clean, smoke-free home
