Description: Vintage Lava Lamp Red Wax Gold Starlight Base NEEDS CORRECT BULB ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is a pre-owned collectible. Fluid does show some hazing. It works, but it just doesn't get hot enough. I have a new 15W bulb in there but it doesn't get the wax hot enough to bubble. I think it needs a 25W bulb but all I have are 15W ones. I don't see any recommendations suggesting what should be in there but I think I'm correct about this assumption. I did try the globe on another model and it does bubble up nicely, so it does work when it's hot enough. You can see one image with the words showing it bubbling correctly. The cap is glued on tight. I had it running for about 5 days without issue. The bulb is a new one that I put in, as it didn't have one inside. Unsure of it's age, it came from a home with LLs of various ages. I think probably 90s. Please note it'll be wrapped up well, twice boxed, to prevent damage.
