Description: Leonard DzieweczynskiBorn 10/31/1926 Died 11/4/2021 Leonard was a lifelong resident of Central Minnesota. He volunteered his services as a teenager to the United States Merchant Marines. He also served in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII and was honorably discharged in 1946. Married to Ramona Kardash in 1948. Together they owned and operated the 12 mile tavern for 27 years. This tavern is stil in existence today. After selling the tavern Leonard worked for the Morrison County Sheriff's Department as a special deputy retiring in 1994. In his free time, he enjoyed carving and and painting spearing decoys as well as painting folk art. You are buying one of his limited decoys available. See the pictures for quality. This decoy is relatively large at Approximately 5.75" long. The pectoral and tail fins are malleable metal that can be tuned to your liking.
