Description: For sale is this antique (over 100 years old) Noritake "Nippon" Christmas Ball Gold #175 Teapot and (correct) Lid. The Nippon backstamp could no longer be used by 1922, so this item is pre-1922, "Japan" had to be used after 1921. The item was acquired in an estate sale. The gold is strong. The lid has the correct hole for steam, so this is NOT as lid for a covered sugar. Please see photographs or use the eBay magnifying feature if that is available to you for an accurate depiction of the condition of this item.
