Description: This vintage Pfleuger No. 1554 fly reel is in good used condition. It shows some finish wear, but no rust or corrosion, the inside is clean, and all the functions work as they should. There are a couple light bends on the aluminum frame, which these light aluminum reels were prone to have. Pfleuger started making this model in the 20s or 30s, and I believe this one is pre-war. The reel is 3-1/2" in diameter, with a7/8" wide and 5/8" deep spool, 2-1/2" black painted brass foot, and it weighs 4.3 ounces.
