Description: Vintage Postcard & Picture Cards HUGE LOT Gettysburg PA Monument Color. This is a very cool vintage lot of seven old postcards. All are new with the exception of one that has a canceled one cent stamp on the back. The rest of the collection is a 20 pack of colored miniatures from Gettysburg Pennsylvania the nation's greatest shrine. I believe this pack of colored miniature cards was unopened until I opened it to take photographs. The package was intended to be mailed directly with room on the back to place a stamp and put the delivery address and a return address. The date on this package is 1937. I believe all the postcards are from the same era. The monuments that are pictured on the picture cards include... Monument to the father Corby Chaplin of the New York Irish brigade. Virginia State memorial Gettysburg PA Statues of generals Buford and Reynolds and Hall's main battery Eternal light peace monument North Carolina memorial George g Mead memorial Pennsylvania state memorial Jennie Wade house Gettysburg national museum home of the electrical map Minnesota monument US national cemetery General Meade's headquarters Lincoln's speech memorial General Lee's headquarters The New York memorial and national cemetery Alabama memorial Hammock avenue looking south High water mark of the civil war Little round top and the Warren monument Spanglers spring these all look like miniature postcards. And measure approximately 3.5 x2.5 chest The seven postcards include aerial view of the melon institute of schenley district this one is written on and has a canceled stamp from 1938.
