Description: Vintage Handmade Wool Needlework (please see photo of back of work)..Cushion Cover. Depicts a swan floating on water beneath a palm tree. Measures 16” X 17”. This is a very unusual and desirable vintage piece made completely and designed by hand. This item is designed to enclose a cushion but it would be lovely framed. I bought this from a vintage linen dealer in Nottingham, England while I was living there. She was a lovely Irish Lady who bought her linens in Ireland to be sold in her shop in England. I lived in the Highlands of Scotland for 17 years and the Midlands of England for 7 years before returning home to the USA in 1996.
