Description: Wooden Jointed Monkey Japanese “Kay Bojesen Mid Century Modern *MISSING AN EAR*. Poseable wooden figurine made in Japan from 1950s/1960s. I'm helping my parents downsize and this is one of the little treasures we found. The monkey figure is around 5" tall with his hands at his side and 7" tall with limbs stretched out. His limbs, feet, and hands are all moveable and can hang from just about anywhere. ****PLEASE NOTE: He is missing his right ear.*** This Mid-Century Modern Monkey is made from teak wood in the style of the Danish Kay Bojesen. There are no cracks or chips in the wood but his talk is cracked and he's missing his right ear. "JAPAN" engraved on the underside, probably a Zoo Line product circa 1950s/1960s.
