Description: For sale is a WW1 British 1914-15 Star To Spr F Setterington Royal Engineers & Research. The 1914-15 star is engraved “49466 Spr F Setterington RE.” Fred Setterington served with the royal engineers under the service number 49466 at the rank of sapper and with the army ordnance corps under the service number 041706 at the rank of private during World War One. Fred entered the French theatre of war on the 3rd of September 1915. Fred was entitled to a British war medal, victory medal and 1914-15 star. Unfortunately only the 1914-15 star is present. Accompanying this medal is 2 scans of his records. Upon payment please let me know if you would prefer digital scans or printed copies. There’s still plenty of research to be done on these. These will be sent via Royal Mail 1st class signed for and dispatched within two working days.
