Description: An original WW2 LUFTWAFFE "FLIEGERKARTE" map of GERMANY (and parts of occupied Poland) featuring BERLIN, DRESDEN, LEIPZIG etc. It's an officially produced composite, consisting of four smaller maps entitled BERLIN, DRESDEN, POSEN and BRESLAU. All four source maps are 'AERONAUTIC' editions (FLIEGERKARTE), and they have been mounted on a 'coated' backing sealed with a stitched edge. The coating would have offered some small degree of basic protection from the elements. Overall condition is good for its age and service use, with some holes worn through the paper component, but not the backing (see photos). The map came to me with a small number of Luftwaffe maps of Europe which I am currently listing. Measures approximately 91cm x 82cm. Will be shipped as per its existing fold lines.
