Description: WWII Airborne Rigger Modified Wool Jump Pants, Paratrooper Pants These are a recreation of the theater modified wool pants sometimes worn in the Mediterranean Theater. I tried to find an original photo online but couldn't figure out how to Google my way past the millions of pictures of reproduction M42s and M43s clogging the market, but there is photo evidence of this type of modification having been done. I made these pockets in the style of M-42 jump pants pockets and finished them with black GI snaps. The fabric is tougher than original M-42 material so these are more along the lines of something that a GI might have had made by an Italian tailor instead of tearing pockets off of a pair of M-42 pants. The wool pants are original and measure 31x31 inches and are dated 1942. The pants are in very nice shape.
